Acquiring Your Certified Califorrnia Birth Certificate

Until November 2003, you could easily get a copy of your certified California birth certificate by simply visiting the Sacramento Clerk's Office and as long as you were born after 1905, you could walk out with a certified copy. However, due to budget reductions in this capacity, that records office no longer offers a counter service and all certified birth certificate requests must be submitted through the city clerk's office or county recorder's office in the city you were born - it varies because each municipality has their own rules and regs for this service.

We can help you get a copy of your California birth certificate and negate a lot of the running around and sitting on hold you're likely to experience. If you were born after 1905 - we can get a copy of your birth certificate from California.
